Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is seeking a Production Supervisor that is responsible for overseeing daily production activities to ensure efficient and safe operations. This role involves managing a team of production workers, ensuring product quality, and meeting production targets while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.

Your Responsibilities:
Practice the Taylor Core Values.
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production team.
Monitor production processes and adjust priorities priority and personnel as needed to meet targets.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain safety and operational standards.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Quality Control, Maintenance) to address issues and optimize production flow.
Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review.
Implement and monitor production metrics to drive performance improvements.
Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts within the team.
Attend Scheduling meetings and proactively report out on delivery
Inform the Manager of jobs in jeopardy of missing a due date.
Coordinate with maintenance and engineering to resolve equipment issues.
Coordinate a training program that successfully elevates employee capability and performance. Manages the daily productivity against the production schedule and quickly resolves performance issues.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent
2+ Years Production Supervisory Experience
Demonstrated skills in leadership, organization and problem solving
Excellent communicator, listener, negotiator and facilitator
Ability to understand complex concepts and communicate across all levels of the company
Experience in MS Office suite
Requirements within this position:
Regularly required to stand/walk for long periods of time
Routinely operates machinery and handles products including print materials
Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry).
We would also prefer:
Printing experience
Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing experience
Experience with environmental and safety regulations
The anticipated annual range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
