Salary Statement
Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $27.58/Hr. - USD $45.98/Hr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.Description
- Ensuring timely movement and availability of materials by locating, transporting, and verifying parts according to production priorities
- Maintaining accurate inventory and production records, coordinating closely with department supervisors, and directing material handling personnel to support efficient workflow and on‑time order fulfillment

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and two years of production floor supply experience; OR associates degree and four years of production floor supply experience; OR equivalent military supply experience and two years of production floor supply experience OR high school diploma / General Education Development (GED) Diploma and six years of production floor supply experience
- Locates and move materials and parts between work areas of plant to expedite processing of goods, according to pre-determined schedules and priorities
- Maintains related records, reviews production schedules inventory reports, and work orders to determine types, quantities, and availability of required material and priorities of customer orders
- Coordinate with department supervisors to determine materials overdue and inform them of location, availability, and condition of materials required for current and upcoming operations
- Locate and moves material to specified production areas, using cart or hand truck, and record quantity and type of materials distributed and on hand
- Direct Power-Truck Operators or Material Handling Laborers to expedite movement of materials between storage and production areas for staging or immediate consumption
- Compare work ticket / work traveler /work order specifications with physical material at work stations to verify appropriateness of material in use
- Prepare worker production records and update and maintain inventory records, using computer terminal
Desired Skills
- Experience performing Material Expediter duties at the Engineering and Prototyping Facility (EPF) or Special Communications Rapid Integration Facility (SCRIF) at NAWCAD WOLF
Clearance Information
SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
