Role Overview:
Responsible for ASEAN recruitment predominantly focusing on blue collar hiring for Malaysia
Responsible for Wing-to-wing recruitment process, including but not limited to, managing job posting and process compliance, job launch, sourcing and screening of candidates, interview arrangement, candidate tracking and weekly status updates to business partners. Facilitate interview feedback sessions, prepare salary proposal, extend verbal offers and issue Employment Agreements
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and develop expertise in their business and talent needs to create diverse talent pools and pipelines
Collaborate with People Leaders and HR to ensure a positive candidate’s experience
Utilize proactive and innovative sourcing strategies utilizing various techniques to meet the hiring demand of the business
Partner with local government bodies or institutions for career fairs
Responsible for liaising with recruitment agencies, Job Board vendors and weekly reporting of TA metrics
Coach People Leaders / interviewers to incorporate capability / competency based assessments during their interview
Challenge current processes and highlight opportunities to improve on our Lean journey
Effectively use social media tools in alignment with GE Aerospace’s Brand Strategy
Provide ad hoc market intelligence data to business
Ideal Candidate

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of recruiting and sourcing experience in Malaysia.
Experience in Manufacturing or Aerospace is preferred.
Demonstrated success in wing-to-wing including sourcing, interviewing and offers.
Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR databases.
Understanding of labour legislation and employment laws.
Good awareness of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
Drive recruitment events e.g. job fairs, and campus networking sessions.
Team Player in a matrix organization and able to build strong relationships with stakeholders, candidates and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to utilize social media and professional networks (e.g., LinkedIn) for sourcing candidates.
Analytical skills to assess recruitment metrics and improve processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of employer branding strategies and techniques
