Description
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will provide leadership, direction, and development for the plant maintenance team responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of equipment, machinery, facilities, and infrastructure supporting manufacturing operations. You will build a high-performing, safety-focused maintenance organization by coaching team members, establishing accountability, and driving continuous improvement across the department. You will lead equipment reliability strategies, reduce downtime, maximize asset utilization, and oversee capital projects, maintenance budgets, and facilities operations while partnering with cross-functional teams to achieve operational objectives and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Lead all plant maintenance activities, including general maintenance, electrical operations, and buildings and grounds maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and plant efficiency.
- Develop and execute maintenance strategies that eliminate sources of equipment failure and extend asset life.
- Schedule and prioritize repair, maintenance, and installation activities to support uninterrupted production operations.
- Champion a culture of safety throughout the maintenance organization, including Lockout/Tagout, electrical safety, and other plant safety programs.
- Establish, monitor, and improve maintenance department performance metrics.
- Lead the Conagra Performance System Planned Maintenance Pillar and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop, manage, and monitor maintenance, storeroom, and maintenance repair and operations budgets.
- Support annual and long-range capital planning through cost estimates and project prioritization.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and operational permit requirements.
- Direct building operations including maintenance, repairs, renovations, and facility improvement projects.
- Establish quality standards and performance expectations for employees, contractors, and service providers.
- Partner with cross-functional plant teams to improve operational performance and reliability.
- Review maintenance, production, and quality data to identify trends and optimize maintenance activities.
- Evaluate facility, equipment, and infrastructure conditions and recommend improvements to support business objectives.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
- Seven or more years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience overseeing production maintenance, machine shop operations, industrial construction, and facilities administration.
- Experience managing maintenance teams and achieving results through others.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers and logic control systems supporting high-speed manufacturing equipment.
- Strong project management experience with a track record of successfully leading large and complex capital projects.
- Understanding of electrical and electronic principles and industrial maintenance systems.
- Experience with computer-aided design software, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
- Experience with SAP in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Basic accounting and budget management knowledge preferred.
- Knowledge of construction processes, trade practices, standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with effective project planning and scheduling experience.
- Experience collaborating with all levels of an organization and influencing cross-functional teams.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and follow-up skills.

Compensation
Pay Range:$109,000-$159,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
