The Junior Accounts Receivable Accountant supports the day-to-day management of customer accounts across cash application, collections, credit, and order release activities. Working closely with customers and internal teams, the role helps ensure timely payments, minimise credit risk, and maintain a high level of customer service.
Where You Make An Impact
Ensure accurate and timely cash application and resolve payment differences.
Maintain accurate customer account balances and support the resolution of open AR items, payment discrepancies, and process backlogs.
Monitor overdue receivables and proactively perform collection activities (written and verbal)
Review customer credit exposure, payment behavior, and blocked orders.
Release orders within delegated authority and request approvals where required.
Maintain customer credit master data
Act as a primary contact for customer account queries, disputes, and payment-related issues
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to proactively resolve issues.
What Makes You Be the Perfect Fit
Secondary or higher education in finance or a related field, or a strong interest in the profession and the field of finance.
Excel knowledge
Language requirements: Fluent English for all roles, for Collection and Credit management roles additional German language min C1.
Analytical, detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset.
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Adaptable and flexible in a constantly changing environment
Able to work in team
Experience with booking or ERP systems is an advantage
