What is the Opportunity?
As a member of the Global Distribution Product Management team, RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM), the Salesforce Administrator role will be integral for helping build a better Salesforce product that supports the Institutional, Retail and other GAM business lines and in various projects and systems work. The successful candidate will help support our GAM Salesforce platforms’ health, maintenance, best practices and enhancements. For more information, please visit: https://www.rbcgam.com/en/ 

What will you do?

  • Work with Salesforce as well as other applications and systems integrating with Salesforce, with an understanding of configuration and data migration through environments and testing.
  • Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet business objectives, requirements and strategic goals
  • Collaborate with internal/external teams, product owners and stakeholders to understand needs and optimization of existing capabilities on the platform.
  • Utilize your Salesforce platform knowledge to build seamless automations, configurations, and improved user experience.
  • Work closely with the team on governance, operational procedures, change management and best practices.
  • Serve as the product ambassador internally and externally, sharing product knowledge
  • Collaborate with the software development, operations and infrastructure teams in identifying options for potential solutions, evaluating the technical and business suitability of each option, participate in priority assessment, feasibility and impact of change or implementation.
  • Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders and business partners using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close. 
  • Resolve conflicts/issues of medium complexity and escalate others as appropriate.
  • Actively participate in standups, sprints and other meetings and ensure assigned tasks are completed on time to support project deliverables​

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • Undergraduate degree, or post-secondary education preferably in information technology or computer science.
  • 3+ years’ Salesforce Admin experience with expertise in Financial Services Cloud, Sales & Service Cloud.
  • Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions and architectural designs.
  • Minimum Salesforce Certifications - Salesforce Advanced Admin, Salesforce Platform App Builder, and FSC Accredited.
  • Advanced proficiency in Salesforce capabilities, including:
    • Data Integrity: Building complex advanced formulas, validation rules, and approval process.
    • User Interface: Designing lightning pages, dynamic forms, and record types.
    • Security: Managing roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing settings.
    • Automations: Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce Flows (record-triggered, screen, and scheduled flows) and high-level understanding of Apex and lightning web components.
    • Data Management: Data loader, SOQL, SOSL, de-duplication.
    • Expert level knowledge on Salesforce Connected apps, Oauth protocols, SAML SSO, and Shield encryption.
  • Integration & Platform Knowledge
    • Familiarity with AppExchange applications, particularly Salesforce Labs solutions
    • Experience with REST and SOAP API integrations
  • Experience owning the technical debt and overall health of a Salesforce org, including providing timely BAU support and bug fixes.
  • Experience or willing to learn modern DevOPS and release management techniques utilizing Gearset.
    • Proficiency working with technology and AI to improve processes and productivity
    • In-depth knowledge of agile process and principles
    • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
    • Keen attention to detail, ability to manage competing deadlines, ability to work independently and within a team, and excellent organizational skills
    • Proficient in MS Office, including advanced Excel skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience in financial services industry specifically Wealth management or Asset Management.
  • Experience with Jira and applicable work management technology and tools
  • Experience with OWN, CRM analytics and OmniStudio.
    • Experience with other Salesforce integrations and technologies including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Outlook Integration, Seismic, Calendar Integration, etc.
  • Experience working with different Business groups to understand their current processes and recommend designs/architecture using the Salesforce platform to help improve efficiencies and have collaborated with other team members and developers to build a scalable solution using Salesforce.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$67,000.00 - $110,000.00
