Job Summary/Purpose:

Plans, organizes & directs all daily activity of the receiving clerk positions, including scheduling, receiving, and audits. Ensure all receipts are entered correctly and timely and audits warehouse administrative procedures and develops/implements changes as needed.

Starting wage - $26.65/hr

Essential Responsibilities

  • Participate/support the RMP (Risk Management Process) and assist in the development of the system and operational standards and corrective actions.
  • Accountable for implementation and ongoing maintenance of risk control for Q-RMP standard
  • Oversees receiving clerk functions and disseminate workload.
  • Audits information into computer ensuring inventories are recorded accurately and documentation is in order.
  • Manages accuracy of printed open purchase order (PO) and stock transports orders (STO).
  • Monitors all SAP transactions that deal with receiving and shipping, average cost of $4 to $5 million weekly.
  • Audit all associated paperwork and handle any problems related to discrepancies, missing paperwork, PO# issues, etc.  Audit original paperwork from outside center(s).
  • Audit accuracy of production schedule and report discrepancies to materials department.
  • Creates shop orders for production based on firm plan orders and production schedule.
  • Manages accuracy of printed open shop orders report for daily production input.
  • Ability to find and work to resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance on any product placed or released from hold status, raw materials as well as finished product.
  • Research A/P issues and work to resolve any problems related to invoices and make corrections as needed. 
  • Must be able to provide recall information to Q.A department; location of product by manifest number, pallet numbers and shifts. Must be able to provide recall information for raw material usage as well as disposals.
  • Support special shipments prior to 3:30pm assuring product is ready and pick-up is scheduled.
  • Keep record of test ingredients and update visual board as needed to ensure all ingredients are here for testing.
  • Answer phone calls and e-mails to schedule deliveries.
  • Performs job assignments following all safety precautions and reports any unsafe conditions. 
  • Ability to recognize report and be involved in corrective action regarding any unsafe conditions.
  • Receive product into SAP and create tickets.
  • Training and Safety – Provide a safe and healthful work environment for all personnel through consistent support of the Kraft Heinz Safety Process.  Oversee safety processes including, but not limited to, goal setting, hazard recognition, and elimination, administration of safety procedures and corresponding corrective action, area inspection, job skills, and compliance training, accident investigation and safety meetings.
  • Interprets company policies to workers and enforces policies and safety regulations.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours; days, afternoons, midnights, overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • As necessary, other duties and/or projects may be assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Prefer minimum of Associate Degree and 1 to 3 years’ experience directing a work group.

  • Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

·Must be able to understand and, interpret computer terminology as it relates to data entry.

Physical/Mental Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walks, sits, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
  • Ability to use hands/arms to reach, handles, or feels objects, tools or controls.
  • Ability to work in all areas of the facility including hot and cold areas, and be exposed to wet and humid conditions.
  • Must be able to lift and or move up to 50 lbs or more.
  • Must have excellent vision, distant and peripheral, with the ability to identify and distinguish colors, and adjust focus.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually high, and ear protection is required.
  • May work near moving mechanical parts, high and/or confining places and in outside weather conditions.
