Job Summary

The Customer Experience Intern supports West Bend's Customer Experience team by analyzing customer feedback, policy data, and digital experience insights to help improve policyholder and agent experiences. This role assists with Voice of Customer (VoC) reporting, customer journey measurement, customer experience initiatives, and data storytelling. The intern will gain hands-on experience using survey platforms, Power BI, Databricks, and Google Analytics to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and transform data into actionable insights that support customer-focused business decisions.

Work Location

This position is an in-office role located in West Bend, WI. No remote opportunities for this position are available at this time.

 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, preparing, and analyzing customer feedback, policy data, and web analytics.
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and Databricks to support customer experience initiatives.
• Identify trends and opportunities within customer data and help translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Support the development and maintenance of customer personas, and journeys maps.
• Assist with monitoring and evaluating policyholder and agent portal digital experience performance.
• Support Voice of Customer programs through survey creation, administration, and insight generation.
• Partner with Customer Experience Specialists and business teams on projects focused on improving customer satisfaction, loyalty, and ease of doing business.
• Contribute to presentations and communications that help leaders understand customer needs and business opportunities.

 

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Ability to analyze data and communicate findings through storytelling and presentations.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail with organizational skills.
• Demonstrates initiative, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn.
• Possible Experience with or coursework involving: 
  • Survey Vendors (Ex. InMoment, Qualtrics)
  • Google Analytics
  • Power BI
  • Databricks
  • Excel
  • Data visualization tools

 

Preferred Education and Training

• Pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Customer Experience, Marketing, or a related field.
