Job Summary

 The Analytics Architect is a senior technical leadership role responsible for defining and driving the analytics, AI, and data strategy that enables next-generation LaserJet product development. This role focuses on driving the strategy and innovation across engineering design and development, hardware validation, customer intelligence, and telemetry insights throughout the LaserJet NPI & CPE lifecycle.

 The successful candidate will transform product, validation, and customer data into strategic insights that influence product architecture, reliability engineering, customer experience, and business outcomes. This role requires strong collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, firmware, software, quality, customer support, and data platform organizations to enable scalable analytics platforms and AI-enabled capabilities that accelerate innovation across the product lifecycle.

 The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in print data ecosystems, hardware design and development processes, systems thinking, advanced analytics, AI/ML architectures, and technical leadership. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to engineering and business leaders, driving data-driven decision making and fostering a culture of innovation and engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the vision, strategy, and execution of analytics, AI, and data initiatives across the LaserJet R&D organization.
• Identify and champion data- and AI-driven opportunities across E2E NPI & CPE engineering lifecycle that improve engineering productivity, product quality, customer experience, and business value.
• Generate actionable insights from internal engineering, development, validation data and external telemetry and customer data to influence product strategy, technology investments, competitive positioning, and business decisions.
• Lead the adoption and application of Generative AI, Agentic AI, and advanced analytics solutions to modernize engineering workflows, accelerate knowledge discovery, enhance diagnostics, and improve decision-making processes.
• Define, govern, and lead the technical architecture design, reviews and ensure architectural consistency across multiple initiatives. Ensure solutions are scalable, measurable explainable, secure, and aligned with Responsible AI principles.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across R&D and the broader Print organization, leveraging shared capabilities, aligning strategic priorities, maximizing organizational impact.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including Generative AI, Agentic AI, multimodal AI, digital engineering solutions, and advanced machine learning techniques, to continuously enhance organizational capabilities and accelerate innovation.
• Establish and promote best practices, frameworks, and governance models, and operating processing for data management, analytics, and AI development and solution deployment.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to engineering leaders, architects, and executives, influencing product, technology, and investment decisions through data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Mentor and develop analytics engineers, data scientists, and technical teams, provide guidance on strategy execution, technical excellence, and translation of complex analytical findings into impactful business and engineering recommendations.

 Required Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related technical discipline.
• Typically, 10+ years of experience in analytics, engineering, or related technical fields.
• Proven experience architecting organizational analytics and AI solutions.
• Experience working with large-scale telemetry, customer experience, quality, reliability, and product engineering data.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in product development, engineering analytics, reliability engineering, or quality intelligence.
• Experience in Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and multimodal AI systems.
• Experience in building data products, analytics, and AI solutions using cloud-native architectures and platform, e.g., Databricks, Azure AI, etc.
