German-Speaking Policy Support Specialist
Location: Foreshore, Cape Town
Hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: R18,000 per month
Start Date: 1 or 15 October 2026
Our client is an established international organisation in the insurance and medical assistance sector, seeking a German-speaking Policy Support Specialist to join their Cape Town team.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and administer insurance policies and policy amendments.
- Handle customer and partner correspondence.
- Review and capture policy information accurately.
- Issue insurance documents, certificates and visa confirmations.
- Support policy maintenance, premium collection and related administration.
- Assist with training and onboarding new team members.
- Support team organisation and process improvements.
Requirements
- German: Minimum B2+ written and spoken.
- English: Native-level or highly advanced.
- Matric or equivalent.
- Previous insurance, claims, travel insurance, medical assistance or healthcare experience is advantageous.
- Strong administrative, organisational and customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical, numerical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
- Must have the legal right to work in South Africa.
