Associate Vice President, Projects and Operations

Overview

Fisher Investments is looking for a proven, results-oriented Associate Vice President of Projects and Operations to lead the operational engine of our global in-house creative marketing agency, fishtank. You will help strengthen and evolve the operating model that enables fishtank to deliver high-quality creative assets to support global marketing campaigns at scale. As a part of the agency leadership team, reporting to the GVP, Global Marketing Services, you'll direct our project management group and serve as a strategic operational partner to other agency leaders. You'll shape how work enters and move through the agency, improve capacity and resourcing, improve process and technological improvements to ensure the agency can meet the demands of the business.

The Day-to-Day:

• Lead, coach, and develop the agency's project management team, creating a strong culture of accountability, collaboration, and results
• Lead strategic operational programs that improve the agency's effectiveness, efficiency, and scalability
• Improve intakes, prioritize, and model workflows, ensuring you scope, prioritize, resource, and align new work with our goals
• Oversee the end-to-end operational delivery of creative assets across all markets, channels, and creative disciplines
• Partner with marketing leadership to establish priorities, timelines, and delivery expectations based on our needs
• Oversee agency budgeting, including forecasting, expenses tracking, and resource costs
• Manage executive updates on operational reporting, project delivery, and capacity planning
• Communicate regularly with partners to ensure understanding and transparency, and advise on feasibility, priorities, and resource trade-offs and risks
• Be the senior point of escalation for complex projects, resource constraints and bring forward a clear solution
• Partner closely with creative, strategy and planning, data, technology and media team leaders to ensure effective understanding and collaboration

Your Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in a creative operations leadership role with an agency or in-house creative organization
• Proven experience developing and managing operational models that deliver creative assets at scale
• History of building strong teams and developing talent
• Experience with creative agency operating models, including intake, workflow, project management, resource management, planning, production, and operational governance
• Experience managing complex, high-volume creative work across multiple partners, channels, and markets
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing processes, workflows and governance frameworks that improve organizational effectiveness
• Experience with capacity planning, resource forecasting, workload management and the strategic use of internal and external resources
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate teams, establish accountability, and interface with senior leadership

Compensation:

• $120,000 - $180,000 base salary per year in the state of WA. New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
• Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
