Product Manager, Windows Sandboxes

Company Description

We’re representing a fast-growing infrastructure company building the compute layer for AI agents. Its platform provides secure, isolated, instantly available environments where AI agents can run code, interact with computers, train, and execute other compute-intensive workloads.

The infrastructure supports use cases across AI agents, reinforcement learning, computer-use workloads, and developer environments for some of the world's largest AI companies.

The company closed its Series A earlier this year and has already grown approximately 10x since the round. The team remains small and senior, giving new hires significant ownership over both product direction and execution.

What You Will Do

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for Windows sandboxes.
• Work directly within the Windows engineering pod to define what an agent-native Windows environment should look like.
• Build infrastructure that allows computer-use agents to interact with the Windows-based enterprise software ecosystem.
• Own decisions across the Windows sandbox experience, including:
  • Image catalog and management
  • Pre-installed software strategy
  • Session semantics
  • Streaming and control APIs for agents
  • Snapshot and fork experiences
• Identify and prioritize the strongest initial use cases, including computer-use agent platforms, RPA replacement, QA automation, and legacy application modernization.
• Translate Windows licensing and packaging requirements into a commercially viable product.
• Determine what software customers can bring themselves, what the platform should provide, and how those capabilities should be priced.
• Own enterprise requirements including domain join, identity, network isolation, and compliance.
• Work directly with customers to understand technical requirements and turn them into clear product priorities.
• Define and track metrics including:
  • Time to first Windows sandbox
  • Session reliability
  • Cost per agent-hour
  • Expansion within customer accounts
• Write concise product specifications, aggressively prioritize scope, and ship alongside engineering every week.
• Help define an emerging infrastructure category as AI agents increasingly interact directly with desktop software.

Ideal Background

• 5+ years of product management experience working on technical, infrastructure, or developer-focused products.
• Working knowledge of the Windows ecosystem and enough technical depth to independently reason about its constraints.
• Familiarity with areas such as:
  • Windows licensing
  • Imaging
  • Active Directory / Entra
  • Identity
  • Desktop applications
  • Enterprise Windows environments
• Demonstrated experience shipping developer-facing APIs or platforms that achieved meaningful adoption.
• Strong technical fluency and comfortable partnering directly with infrastructure engineers.
• Experience translating complicated technical capabilities into usable, commercially viable products.
• Strong customer-discovery skills and comfortable speaking directly with highly technical customers.
• Strong commercial instincts, including an understanding of how licensing, packaging, and pricing affect product strategy.
• Comfortable working through ambiguity where neither the product requirements nor category conventions have been fully established.
• Able to make clear prioritization decisions and keep scope focused while shipping quickly.
• Comfortable operating within a small, senior team with substantial individual ownership.

Preferred

• Background in VDI or end-user computing.
• Experience with RPA or desktop automation products.
• Exposure to computer-use agents or broader AI agent platforms.
• Experience building infrastructure for enterprise Windows environments.
• Familiarity with Windows identity, networking, and security requirements.
• Experience with usage-based infrastructure products.
• Previous experience as a software engineer or solutions architect.
• Experience building API-first developer products.
• Background in an early-stage infrastructure, developer-tools, or AI company.

Compensation and Benefits

• Compensation:  $220,000-$260,000 + Equity
• Location: San Francisco.
• Reports directly to the CEO.
• Company recently completed its Series A and has grown approximately 10x since.
• Embedded directly within the Windows engineering pod.
• Significant ownership across product strategy, technical roadmap, customer discovery, enterprise requirements, licensing, packaging, pricing, and product metrics.
• This role is particularly focused on the intersection of Windows infrastructure and emerging computer-use AI agents.
• Best suited for a technically fluent product leader who can move comfortably between Windows architecture, developer APIs, enterprise requirements, customer discovery, and commercial product decisions while helping define a new infrastructure category.

Salary Range: $220,000-$260,000 base.
