A family in San Francisco is seeking a confident, fun, engaging, and experienced nanny to join their family in a full-time, 7-on / 7-off rotational schedule.

This ideal candidate should be able to thrive in active household and has extensive experience managing multiple children and sibling dynamics. The family is seeking someone who is proactive, adaptable, and capable of creating a structured, engaging, and loving environment. They would love someone that has pre-school, kindergarten or other teaching experience.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Sibling Experience: Proven background caring for multiple children simultaneously, handling shared schedules, and fostering positive sibling relationships.
  • Energy & Engagement: Enthusiastic about keeping kids active, organizing creative activities but also knowing how to relax and encourage free-play, as well as supporting daily routines.
  • Education & Development: A background or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or any teaching experience is a strong plus.
  • Professional & Confident: Clear communicator who can independently manage day-to-day routines and hiccups with confidence and ease.

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Schedule: Rotational 7 days on / 7 days off (full-time role)

Experience Requirements

  • 3-5 years minimum experience working as a nanny with excellent verifiable references
  • Previous ROTA experience a plus

Educational Requirements

  • Fluency in English
  • Background or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or any teaching experience a strong plus.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver with clean record
  • Experience working with siblings
  • Can make a long-term commitment
  • Adaptable and proactive
  • Domestic and international travel required- must have a passport travel
  • Kind, intuitive
  • Confidence in early childcare

Responsibilities

  • 24/7 childcare
  • Helping children get ready in the morning for school
  • Focus on child development and age appropriate activities
  • Help prep snacks
  • Plan outdoor activities and be comfortable riding a bike outside with the kids
  • Travel with the family, help organize for trips, packing/unpacking, etc.
  • Partner with parents and ROTA nanny for children development
  • Child related errands, occasionally household related
