Job Summary
The Product Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for Power Supply Units (PSUs) and Power Distribution Units (PDUs) supporting Hyve's hyperscale and AI infrastructure platforms. This role is accountable for supplier management, cost optimization, supply continuity, and new product introduction while ensuring supplier capacity and technology roadmaps align with Hyve's rapidly growing business. The position requires close collaboration with Engineering, NPI, Operations, Quality, and key suppliers to deliver best-in-class cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for PSU and PDU commodities to support hyperscale and AI customer programs.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships, including commercial negotiations, long-term agreements, supplier performance reviews, and executive business reviews.
• Drive cost optimization through commercial negotiations, should-cost analysis, dual sourcing, value engineering, and regional sourcing initiatives.
• Ensure supply continuity by managing supplier capacity, lead times, allocations, and risk mitigation plans for critical power components.
• Partner with Engineering, NPI, Quality, and Operations to support new product introductions, supplier qualification, and technology roadmap alignment.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging power technologies, market conditions, and supply constraints to proactively identify opportunities and risks.
• Lead supplier escalations to resolve quality, delivery, capacity, and supply issues while driving corrective actions.
• Support tariff mitigation, compliance requirements, and regional manufacturing strategies to optimize total landed cost.
• Develop supplier capacity and business continuity plans to support Hyve's long-term growth and expanding AI infrastructure business.
