Hourly Rate:

AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements and Nature of Work:

Required:

· Completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, technology, organizational leadership, communication, or a closely related field

· Demonstrated experience in team-based projects, communication, or leadership roles (academic or professional)

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in teaching and learning

Preferred:

· Prior TA, mentoring, or tutoring experience

· Experience with active learning and inclusive teaching methods

· Ability to facilitate peer-to-peer learning and foster supportive group environments

Skills & Competencies

· Ability to explain concepts and coach students in leadership and communication practices

· Organizational skills to manage learning materials and grading

· Commitment to student success, engagement, and continuous improvement
