Maintenance Technician – General Maintenance / Handyman

Pay: $24.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM–1:00 AM

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician with general handyman experience to help maintain a facility and keep equipment and work areas in good working condition. This position will perform basic maintenance, troubleshoot minor issues, complete repairs, and assist with preventive maintenance throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with tools and general repairs and is comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and handyman repairs throughout the facility
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor maintenance issues
• Complete basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facility components
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Inspect equipment, work areas, and facility components for maintenance needs
• Help keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete repairs in a timely manner
• Assist with other maintenance duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous handyman, maintenance, or general repair experience
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete minor repairs
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Basic electrical, plumbing, or mechanical experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work safely
