Description
Facilities & Workplace Operations
- Lead day-to-day facilities and workplace operations across China offices and the Shanghai laboratory.
- Ensure a safe, compliant, and productive working environment for all associates and visitors.
- Develop and maintain operational standards, SOPs, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Drive workplace utilization optimization and support flexible working strategies.
- Manage office moves, expansions, consolidations, and workplace change initiatives.
- Partner with EHS leaders to ensure facility operations comply with Cytiva standards and local regulations.
- Serve as site security focal point and manage security services provided by vendors.
Integrated Facilities Management
- Establish governance processes, KPIs, and regular performance reviews with IFM vendor.
- Monitor service delivery performance against contractual commitments and business expectations.
- Lead escalation management and resolution of operational issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality, and cost effectiveness through the IFM model.
Office Administration
- Ensure smooth operation of office administration services, including reception, employee services, company events, visitor management, workplace amenities, and office policies.
- Continuously enhance employee experience through service improvements and workplace initiatives.
- Maintain effective governance for office administration processes.
Cost Management & Procurement
- Develop and manage facilities and administration budgets.
- Drive continuous cost optimization initiatives while maintaining service quality.
- Identify opportunities for cost avoidance and operational efficiency improvements.
- Monitor service provider expenditures and performance.
- Support lease renewals, negotiations, and real estate portfolio management activities in partnership with regional stakeholders
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Engineering, Real Estate, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in facilities management, workplace services, office administration, or corporate real estate.
- Strong vendor management and contract governance experience.
- Experience in budget planning and cost control.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
