Overview
The Autism Specialist II (coach)provides specialized consultative services, technical assistance, and job-embedded coaching to educators and related educational personnel to support students with disabilities.
This role supports a multi-year, implementation science–driven initiative delivering tiered professional development, coaching, and consultation to strengthen classroom practice and build sustainable systems within public school systems.
The incumbent will actively participate in activities across early intervention and early school-age educational systems. The role may also provide support services in Maryland school districts, childcare programs, and CASSI programs (e.g., Achievements).
This position is primarily based in Delaware County, PA and will also require time in Baltimore, MD. During the screening process, candidates will learn more about the locations and schedule.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess and maintain certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with personal vehicle liability insurance in amounts not less than $15,000/30,000 for bodily injury and $5,000 for property damage.
- Specialty certificate in Applied Behavioral Analysis preferred.
EDUCATION:
- Master’s degree in education, Education Administration, Psychology, Speech Language Pathology, or related field, required.
EXPERIENCE:
- Five years of experience providing effective training, support, school programming, and implementation of strategies for students with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental delays, allied health professionals, and internal/external agencies required.
- Two years of experience working in classrooms and school settings
- Experience providing and/or coordinating staff development activities required.
- Experience teaching or providing clinical services to children or youth required.
