What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
- Responsible to handle breakdown maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instrument's/equipment's (Hardware & Software) to ensure all in working condition.
- Perform the Preventive maintenance of laboratory instrument's/equipment's as per schedule.
- Coordinate with the vendors for the maintenance activities for the equipment having CMC & AMC.
- Responsible for other activities related to Quality control which assigned by the Manager/ Supervisor.
- Escalation of analytical issues to next level.
- Responsible for the procurement of new instruments/equipment’s as per laboratory requirements.
- Responsible to provide support for Commissioning, Installations and qualifications of Instruments/equipment’s.
- Accountable for the TPM (Total productive maintenance) to increase over equipment efficiency.
- Spare Inventory management.
- Quality Control Software data management. (User ID and password management, projects creation and other administrative support works).
- Responsible to handle all Laboratory Safety requirements.
- Co-ordination and communication with cross functional teams and equipment vendors for technical support.
- Preparation of all maintenance related document’s (PM procedures, Operator care check list etc.).
- Ensure all documentation and quality records comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Laboratory Practices and are filed according to existing policies.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- Diploma in Electronics & Instrumentation, B.Sc. Electronics & Instrumentation, M.Sc. Electronics & Instrumentation, B-Tech Electronics & Instrumentation with 1-5 year of experience.
- Demonstrated technical skills in Laboratory equipment/instrument trouble shooting and Preventive Maintenance.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and its application standards, processes, and policies.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong ability to multi-task
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with unique Quality Control instruments to meet accuracy specifications.
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
- Handon experience on trouble shooting & Preventive Maintenance of laboratory instrument's/equipment's, particularly HPLC (High Pressure Liquid Chromatography), Gas Chromatography, Titrators, Spectrophotometers, etc.
- Proven track record in leading continuous improvement projects
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new techniques and procedures
