We’re looking for a Design Consultant to join our Calgary team in a full-time capacity — someone who enjoys connecting with people, has an eye for design, and is motivated by results.

This is a full-commission sales position where your earning potential grows with your performance. Our Design Consultants earn 7% commission on written sales, with full-time consultants expected to earn approximately $65,000–$75,000+ annually and strong performers having the opportunity to earn beyond that range.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Design Consultant, you’ll create an engaging and personalized experience for every customer while building relationships that turn conversations into sales.

You will:

• Connect with customers to understand their lifestyle, space, and design needs
• Recommend furniture, materials, finishes, and configurations that bring their vision to life
• Build lasting customer relationships through proactive communication and follow-up
• Develop and maintain your own sales pipeline
• Stay knowledgeable about EQ3 products, collections, materials, and design solutions
• Work toward individual sales goals while contributing to overall store performance
• Collaborate with your team to create an inspiring and welcoming showroom experience
• Stay connected with customers throughout their purchasing journey

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You don’t need to be an interior designer to succeed in this role. We’re looking for someone who combines sales ability, customer focus, and an appreciation for great design.

You bring:

• Proven success in retail, furniture, design, hospitality, or another customer-focused sales environment
• A competitive and results-oriented mindset
• Confidence working in a commission-driven environment
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to follow up, build a client base, and close sales
• An appreciation for modern design, quality craftsmanship, and premium products
• A self-motivated, entrepreneurial approach to your work
• Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Furniture or interior design experience is an asset, but strong sales ability and the motivation to learn are equally important.

COMPENSATION & EARNING POTENTIAL

This is a full-commission position paying 7% of written sales.

Our full-time Design Consultants are expected to earn approximately $65,000–$75,000+ per year, with the opportunity for high performers to exceed this range.
