Eaton’s Mobility Group is currently seeking a Test Engineer to join our team in Tczew, Poland. This is a full time, permanent position.
## What you’ll do:
The position is part of the EMEA Mobility Test Departments located in Tczew, Poland. The Test Engineer supports product validation activities by preparing test setups, executing laboratory and durability tests, collecting and analyzing data, and documenting results. The role focuses on the execution of established test methods and contributes to the development and validation of conventional powertrain and electrified vehicle systems.
Success in this role requires a strong technical foundation, attention to detail, and effective teamwork. The Test Engineer works closely with experienced engineers, technicians, and global engineering teams to deliver accurate and reliable validation results.
- Execute validation testing for electrified vehicle systems and components including PDUs, BDUs, Power electronics, ePowertrain systems, transmissions, and clutch components for passenger and commercial vehicles.
- Prepare test samples, instrumentation, fixtures, and laboratory equipment for test execution.
- Follow approved test procedures and customer requirements.
- Collect, analyze, and document test data and results.
- Support troubleshooting and maintenance of laboratory equipment and test benches.
- Assist in the development and modification of test methods, fixtures, and automation systems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including test reports and validation records.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and technicians to ensure successful project completion.
- Comply with safety, quality, and IATF requirements.
## Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in testing, laboratory operations, validation, or product development or manufacturing engineering
## Skills:
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and components.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical measurement techniques.
- Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
- Basic knowledge of CAN communication protocols and control systems (nice to have).
- Familiarity with test execution and data analysis tools.
- Fundamental knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
- Experience working with LabVIEW or Python (required).
- Experience with NI TestStand, Vector tools, IMC FAMOS, CAPL, Jira, or similar tools/programming languages (nice to have).
- Strong communication skills.
- Teamwork and collaboration.
- Problem-solving mindset.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Polish and English (required).
