Key Responsibilities
- Design mechanical components such as castings, plastic molded parts, stampings for Inverter, EV chargers etc.
- Support DFMEA and root cause analysis
- Be able to support and understand thermal, CFD, structural simulations
- Create bills of materials (BOMs) and review/release 2D/3D production drawings
- Test prototypes for vibration, thermal limits, and environmental durability
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
- Experience with 3D CAD tools (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks)
- Knowledge of GD & T and tolerance stack up analysis
- Knowledge of electronic component manufacturing (PCB etc.)
- Familiarity with lightweight materials and high-voltage safety standards
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
