Description
We develop the optical systems that enable semiconductor lithography. Our mission is to ensure the successful development and industrialization of highly complex systems. To meet these demanding challenges, we rely on interdisciplinary teams of highly qualified experts from a wide range of disciplines. Within the Project Management Office (PMO) of Semiconductor Manufacturing Optics (SMO), we support our business fields in portfolio and project management, coordinate key planning processes, and drive the continuous development of project management standards, methods, processes, and reporting across the organization. For our various product lines, we provide dedicated Program Office support. Our Project Engineers work closely with Program and Project Managers, helping to ensure effective project execution while working at the heart of exciting development projects within SMT.
Your Role:
Drive the development and industrialization of highly complex semiconductor manufacturing systems together with the product area team
Act as a trusted partner to Program and Project Managers by shaping project controlling activities and contributing to the management of an increasingly complex project landscape
Support both short-term and long-term planning processes, including scheduling, resource planning, and cost management
Coach newly appointed Project Managers on the specific project management approaches and requirements within the product area
Provide, maintain, and continuously enhance project management structures, methods, and tools
Take ownership of operational project management tasks, ranging from the proactive creation and interpretation of target-plan-actual analyses to the independent management of sub-projects
Coordinate work packages and external suppliers in the areas of project reporting and project management IT tools
Your Profile:
University degree in engineering, natural sciences, or a related field; a background in industrial engineering is also highly welcome
Initial professional experience in project management, ideally complemented by recognized certifications such as IPMA or PMI
Strong IT skills, particularly within the Microsoft Office ecosystem, including SharePoint. A strong affinity for digitalization, process automation, and data analytics, ideally including Power BI and Power Automate, is desirable
Proven experience working effectively in teams, including proactively gathering information from team members and project stakeholders
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex topics clearly, concisely, and in a structured manner through presentations and visualizations
A motivated, pragmatic, and hands-on personality with a strong sense of ownership and initiative
We support your professional growth through a comprehensive portfolio of training and development opportunities, whether you aspire to deepen your technical expertise, advance your project management career, or move into leadership roles. Any knowledge gaps in specialized fields such as optics or lithography are addressed through our well-established and continuously evolving onboarding program, which includes mentoring, structured training plans, seminars, networking events, and more. Especially during your first months, you will benefit from the support of an extensive network of experienced colleagues from various disciplines who will help you successfully navigate your new role. We look forward to receiving your application.
