Job Description

Imagine an Engineering Management System that connects standards, governance, digital tools, analytics and knowledge into a seamless experience that helps engineering teams deliver consistently. Then help us make it real.

About the role

As our Engineering Management System Lead Professional, you'll help develop, maintain, and continuously improve the Engineering Management System across the first LEGO® engineering organisation. You'll connect management system components, standards, governance, performance management, digital solutions, and knowledge assets into a practical framework that supports engineering delivery. By combining management system expertise with digital enablement, analytics, process automation, and emerging technologies, you'll help shape how the Engineering Delivery System evolves for the future.
You will act as a subject matter expert for the Engineering Management System, helping ensure that standards, governance, digital solutions, analytics and knowledge assets work together as a coherent, accessible and effective system.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in engineering, manufacturing or industrial environments will help you understand the practical realities of the teams using the Engineering Management System and ensure solutions remain relevant and effective in real delivery environments.
  • Delivered management systems, operational systems, or quality management systems in a professional environment.
  • Built process management and standardisation frameworks that support consistent ways of working.
  • Developed standards, documentation, governance frameworks, and supporting guidance materials.
  • Managed SharePoint administration, content structures, or knowledge management platforms.
  • Used Confluence, Jira, or similar collaboration and workflow tools to support delivery.
  • Created dashboards, reporting solutions, or analytics using Power BI or comparable platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Applied Microsoft Power Platform solutions to improve business processes.
  • Implemented AI-enabled productivity, automation, or knowledge management solutions.
  • Worked within engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
  • Built digital content architectures, knowledge repositories, information structures, or searchable knowledge environments that improve user experience and adoption.

What you'll build

  • Develop, maintain, and improve Engineering Management System components and supporting structures.
  • Create and manage standards, templates, guidance material, and documentation.
  • Support engineering processes, governance frameworks, and management system architecture.
  • Improve accessibility, consistency, and usability across management system content.
  • Develop digital solutions using SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, and Power BI.
  • Support workflow optimisation, automation initiatives, and performance reporting.
  • Create communication, learning, and capability-building materials that strengthen adoption.
  • Explore opportunities to leverage AI, automation and digital solutions to improve the accessibility, usability and effectiveness of the Engineering Management System.
If you've worked in a role where you connected systems, processes, content, and digital tools into a coherent framework, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to turn complex requirements into practical solutions that people can use every day.

Life on the team

You'll join the Engineering Systems & Performance Team at the LEGO Group, where we're responsible for the systems, standards, and ways of working that support engineering delivery. We work closely with EMS leadership, EMS Development, Area Partners, and operational stakeholders. You'll thrive here if you enjoy learning, adapting to changing needs, collaborating across teams, communicating clearly, and steadily improving how work gets done. Working alongside the Engineering Management System Lead and EMS Development capability, you will help ensure that the Engineering Management System is not only well designed, but also practical, accessible and scalable across Engineering & Workplace.

What success looks like

Success means creating a management system that is accessible, effective, trusted and actively used across Engineering & Workplace. Working closely with leadership and operational partners, you'll help ensure the system remains practical, scalable and ready for what's next through improved usability, digital enablement, analytics, automation and knowledge management. Over the next 12 to 18 months, you'll help strengthen digital enablement, analytics, automation, and knowledge management capabilities while influencing the future evolution of the Engineering Delivery System. Working closely with leadership and operational partners, you'll help ensure the system remains practical, scalable, and ready for what's next.
The position is based in Billund, DK and relocation support is not offered for this role.
