Job Description Summary

The Practice Lead, Advisory Services is ARKANCE's most senior consulting authority and strategic advisor, responsible for leading the firm's most complex, high-impact client engagements while establishing the methodologies, quality standards, and best practices that define consulting excellence across the organization. This role combines executive-level advisory delivery, practice leadership, and team development, serving as both a hands-on leader for transformational client initiatives and a mentor to the broader consulting organization.
The Practice Lead, Advisory Services partners closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Delivery, PMO, and executive leadership to drive measurable business outcomes for clients through digital transformation, organizational change, operating model optimization, and technology-enabled business improvement. Acting as a trusted advisor to executive and C-suite stakeholders, this role guides strategic decision-making, facilitates complex transformation initiatives, and ensures consistency, scalability, and quality across consulting engagements.
Operating with significant autonomy, the Practice Lead, Advisory Services serves as the senior escalation point for complex client situations, provides thought leadership within the AECO industry, and plays a key role in shaping ARKANCE's consulting strategy, service offerings, and market differentiation.

Job Description

Essential Functions

Strategic Consulting Leadership

  • Lead ARKANCE's most strategic, complex, and high-value consulting and advisory engagements from executive discovery through implementation planning, adoption, and business outcome realization.
  • Serve as the senior consulting authority and escalation point for complex customer situations, executive relationships, delivery risks, and strategic decision-making.
  • Facilitate executive-level workshops, strategy sessions, steering committees, and board-level presentations, providing objective, business-focused guidance and recommendations.
  • Ensure consulting engagements deliver measurable business outcomes and support long-term client success and adoption.

Consulting Excellence & Methodology

  • Define, maintain, and continuously improve ARKANCE's consulting methodologies, delivery frameworks, discovery approaches, change management strategies, and success measurement standards.
  • Establish and enforce quality standards across consulting engagements to ensure consistency, scalability, and delivery excellence.
  • Develop and maintain reusable intellectual property, including consulting playbooks, delivery frameworks, workshop designs, assessment tools, templates, and best-practice documentation.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentor, coach, and develop consulting team members on advisory skills, executive engagement, facilitation techniques, consulting methodologies, and customer success strategies.
  • Support talent acquisition, onboarding, performance development, and career growth initiatives to build a high-performing consulting organization.
  • Foster a culture of consulting excellence, accountability, continuous improvement, and client-centric delivery.

Business Growth & Market Leadership

  • Partner with Sales and Pre-Sales to support strategic opportunities, validate engagement approaches, contribute to solution development, and shape Statements of Work.
  • Drive consulting practice growth through thought leadership, market-facing activities, industry engagement, and service innovation.
  • Advise ARKANCE leadership on market trends, competitive positioning, emerging client needs, and strategic investment opportunities.

  • Contribute to practice performance goals related to revenue growth, utilization, engagement quality, customer satisfaction, and business expansion.

Decision-Making & Autonomy

Operates with broad autonomy in consulting delivery strategy, engagement execution, methodology development, quality standards, and client advisory activities. Partners directly with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, practice development, and organizational growth while serving as the principal authority for consulting excellence across ARKANCE.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of management consulting, professional services, strategic advisory, or enterprise consulting experience, including experience building, leading, or scaling a consulting practice, service line, or team.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-stakeholder consulting and advisory engagements from executive discovery through implementation, adoption, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Deep expertise in digital transformation strategy, operating model design, organizational change management, and business transformation within the AECO industry or a related asset-intensive sector.
  • Proven ability to lead executive-level, business outcome-driven advisory engagements and serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior leadership stakeholders.
  • Track record of recruiting, developing, mentoring, and leading high-performing consulting teams while establishing methodologies, quality standards, and scalable delivery practices.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including experience with service portfolio development, pricing strategy, go-to-market planning, pipeline development, and practice growth.
  • Exceptional executive presence with the ability to facilitate strategic workshops, steering committees, executive briefings, and board-level presentations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud and the broader AECO technology

ecosystem preferred.
