This consortium—comprising CDPQ Infra, AtkinsRéalis, SYSTRA Canada, Keolis Canada, Air Canada, and SNCF Voyageurs—was selected by the Canadian government to develop the project following a rigorous bidding process. Thanks to our expertise, we will ensure optimal performance and seamless service within a modern rail network.


And this is just the beginning! As we continue to grow, we are looking for a passionate and talented Ladscape Architect - Urban Designer ) to help shape the future of high-speed rail in Canada.


Within AtkinsRéalis' Transportation Planning team, our Landscape Architecture and Urban Design group plays a key role in delivering major sustainable mobility projects by ensuring their seamless integration into the urban environment and collaborating closely with professionals across multiple disciplines. Based in Montréal, you will have the opportunity to help shape innovative and sustainable urban environments for future generations.

Your Role


  • Conduct urban analyses, site assessments, and development potential studies.
  • Develop urban integration strategies for public transit and infrastructure projects.
  • Create planning and design concepts at various scales, from transportation corridors to broader development areas.
  • Design public spaces, mobility hubs, station environments, and other urban realm improvements.
  • Prepare conceptual plans, diagrams, graphic presentations, and urban visioning documents.
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, planning, and environmental teams to ensure project consistency and integration.
  • Incorporate principles of sustainability, climate resilience, and user-centered design into project development.

About You


  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and design public spaces, mobility corridors, and urban regeneration or redevelopment projects at different scales.
  • Strong project management and strategic advisory skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency with graphic representation, visualization, and communication tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.*

*This position requires knowledge of a language other than French, namely English, as the clients and/or suppliers you will interact with are primarily English-speaking and located outside Québec.
