Responsibilities
Job Summary:
As an Audit Associate, you will support the audit team in performing financial statement audits, preparing workpapers, and reviewing client documentation under the guidance of senior team members. This role is ideal for someone with foundational audit experience who is looking to further develop their technical skills, strengthen their understanding of audit procedures, and gain exposure to clients in a collaborative professional services environment.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Assist in the execution of audit procedures for client financial statements under the supervision of senior audit team members
- Prepare and organize audit workpapers, supporting schedules, and documentation in accordance with firm standards
- Review client-provided documents, perform basic testing, and help identify discrepancies or areas requiring follow-up
- Assist in collecting, analyzing, and summarizing financial data needed to complete assigned audit tasks
- Communicate with internal team members regarding audit status, documentation requests, and open items
- Support the team in maintaining compliance with applicable audit standards, firm policies, and client deadlines
- Participate in team discussions and training opportunities to build audit knowledge and professional judgment
Qualifications
Desired Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1–3 years of audit, accounting, or assurance experience, preferably in public accounting or a professional services environment
- US audit experience is nice to have but not required
- CPA certification or progress toward CPA is preferred
- Basic understanding of audit procedures, financial statements, and accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and willingness to learn
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and manage assigned tasks within deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word
- Onsite work in Makati required for the 1st year; Flexibility may be provided during typhoons, severe weather advisories, natural disasters, or similar emergency situations.
- Night shift required
