GDIT is looking for a Portfolio and Program Management Analyst (Mid-level) to support Chief Information Officer (CIO) responsibilities, strategic analysis of operations in the information environment and guide digital transformation for the USCENTCOM Information Technology Services (CITS) Program supporting the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) Command, Control, Communications, and Computer Systems (C4) Directorate (CCJ6), USCENTCOM HQ in Tampa, FL.
How a Portfolio and Program Management Analyst will Make an Impact
Duties and Responsibilities: As a Portfolio and Program Management Analyst for the CITS Program, you will be responsible for providing technical, analytical, and administrative support to facilitate Portfolio and Program Management across the Command. Key responsibilities include managing portfolio requirements throughout their lifecycle; engaging in data-centric research and analysis; compiling and preparing reports, dashboards, and briefing products as required for leadership consumption to include Director-level decision forums; capturing relevant meeting minutes for record; assisting in developing official policy and governance documents related to the Command IT enterprise; and proposing innovative methods and procedures for facilitating and enhancing the enterprise and team's productivity. This is an excellent mid-level position for someone interested in a Program or Portfolio Management career path.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Deliver IT Requirements Demand management, including process improvement
- Deliver IT Program Financial Management data, reporting, analysis, and recommendations
- Develop and staff strategic communication products (e.g., briefings, information papers, talking points, and other artifacts) for Senior Leaders
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and workgroups
- Provide input to and/or submit routine status, analysis, and/or recommendation reports
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education and/or Certifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience; OR High School graduate and 8+ years of experience in a military IT environment.
Desired:
- Experience in Information Technology Systems, Information Resource Management, or a related field
- ITIL Foundation (v4 or later)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- ServiceNow experience/certification(s)
Required Skills:
- Possess strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in small groups to analyze requirements, prepare courses of action, and develop rationalized recommendations
- Ability to work closely and productively with stakeholders at all levels to include senior leaders
- Experience in IT planning, particularly for large-scale enterprises
- Ability to quickly analyze assigned tasks, determine requirements, coordinate input, and develop products
- Ability to facilitate portfolio management four core functions: Analyze, Select, Control, and Evaluate
- Strong proficiency with MS 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Teams in a collaborative environment
- Ability to deliver client-ready products (i.e., professional, accurate, grammatically correct)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and apply other time management skills to operate effectively in a highly fluid, fast-paced environment
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of DoD IT environment; USCENTCOM experience preferred
- Experience with Combatant Command structure and mission set; USCENTCOM experience preferred
- Familiarity with current technologies and concepts (e.g., AI/ML, LLMs, cloud, zero trust, data visualization)
- Familiarity with CIO Responsibilities and concepts (e.g., IT Strategy, Enterprise Architecture, Portfolio Management, Cybersecurity, Continuous Process Improvement)
- Familiarity with basic DoW accounting functions (i.e., Spend Plan development and execution, POM, FYDP, etc.)
- Experience with ITSM tools; preference for ServiceNow

The likely salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
