As a Security Officer Part Time Tablet Patrol in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support residents and visitors with professional customer service. You will communicate clearly, document security-related activity using computer or tablet tools, and work collaboratively with Allied Universal teammates while demonstrating reliability, agility, innovation, care, and integrity.

- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, property concerns, and/or access issues.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and resident entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken according to site procedures.
- Maintain a professional presence while supporting a welcoming residential environment and communicating relevant information to property personnel and/or emergency responders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
