About the team

The biggest companies in the world use Maestro every day to solve their most complex supply chain challenges. Our team owns Maestro’s powerful supply chain planning engine: a mission-critical backend system that stores and serves data by executing queries with exceptional speed, accuracy, and reliability.

Our team is building the next generation of the Maestro back end — a cloud-native, distributed platform designed to push the boundaries of performance, scalability, and reliability. By leveraging modern distributed systems architecture, horizontal scaling, and resilient cloud infrastructure, we enable customers to solve larger and more complex planning challenges with greater speed and efficiency.

What you will do

• Design and implement high-performance, scalable, and maintainable features for our cloud-native backend system
• Use AI-assisted development workflows to generate, refine, and validate clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Own code quality through thoughtful test planning, code reviews, and investigation of complex defects
• Bring our existing AI-assisted development workflows to the next level by identifying opportunities to enhance current infrastructure, tools, and engineering practices
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering an environment of learning, ownership, and growth

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive software development experience building scalable, enterprise-grade backend systems, including experience leading the design and delivery of complex features or services.
• Proven experience in at least one object-oriented programming language (Go, Java, C# or any other modern language preferred). Willingness to learn and work in Golang
