Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk Consulting team. This role will be based in any of the following locations: Calgary, Montreal or Vancouver. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As the Risk Solutions Practice Leader, you will lead the delivery and growth of a new suite of fit-for-client risk solutions across our Corporate, Affinity, and SME segments in Canada. You will partner closely with stakeholders across Risk Consulting to refine segment-relevant offerings enabled by the Risk Passport ecosystem, while driving client engagement, consulting delivery, and business development.

We will count on you to:

  • Lead the delivery and ongoing management of fit-for-segment solutions across Corporate, Affinity, and SME segments, including consulting project management and deployment of offerings enabled by the Risk Passport ecosystem.
  • Lead innovation and development of new engagement methodologies and deliverables to create new and expanded value for clients.
  • Maintain accountability for the ongoing development of this emerging consulting service line, including P&L management accountability, enhancement of service capabilities, and strengthening the fit-for-segment value proposition.
  • Develop scopes of work, statements of work, and proposals in partnership with internal stakeholders, and support the sale of consulting engagements that grow the book of business across target segments.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to drive new business, deepen client relationships, drive revenue growth, and expand the reach of consulting solutions, including referral opportunities into broader Risk Consulting offerings.
  • Facilitate engagement economics by monitoring key financial aspects of engagements and recommending growth, pricing, and resourcing approaches that support commercial objectives, quality delivery, and client needs.
  • Drive and communicate issues, recommendations, timelines, and deliverables to client and internal teams to manage project plans, engagement progress, and service execution effectively.
  • Manage resource planning and delivery methodologies, partnering with Risk Consulting Canada team leaders and other internal stakeholders to determine optimal resourcing based on client strategy, engagement scope, and risk complexity.

What you need to have:

  • Demonstrated experience leading consulting engagements end-to-end, including project management, client delivery, and stakeholder management.
  • Proven ability to drive business development through client engagement, solution positioning, and proposal/scoping development.
  • Experience building, evolving, and scaling consulting offerings or service lines, including commercial and delivery accountability.
  • Strong people leadership and coaching capability, with a collaborative approach to team and peer partnership.

What makes you stand out:

  • Experience designing and deploying segment-based, scalable risk solutions for Corporate, Affinity, and/or SME clients.
  • Track record of leading innovation in consulting methodologies, deliverables, and ways of working.
  • Familiarity with solution ecosystems and enabling platforms used to support repeatable, fit-for-client risk offerings.

Why join our team:

  • We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.
  • We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.
  • Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.
