Responsibilities
The Senior Director, Brand & Marketing is responsible for leading the strategic direction, stewardship, and execution of the Global Travel Collection enterprise brand. This role ensures a cohesive and differentiated brand experience while supporting the distinct value propositions of the Leisure, Corporate, Entertainment, and GTC UK business divisions.Reporting to the SVP, Partner Product, Marketing & Events, this leader translates enterprise strategy into integrated marketing initiatives that strengthen brand equity, drive advisor and partner engagement, and support business growth.The Senior Director leads a high-performing team responsible for brand strategy, creative services, content, advisor marketing, digital marketing, and marketing operations, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Enterprise Brand Leadership
- Serve as the steward of the Global Travel Collection enterprise brand.
- Develop and evolve the long-term brand strategy and positioning.
- Establish brand governance, standards, messaging, visual identity, and tone of voice.
- Ensure brand consistency across Leisure, Corporate, Entertainment, and GTC UK while recognizing the unique positioning and objectives of each.
- Partner with executive leadership and business unit leaders to strengthen the enterprise brand while supporting divisional priorities.
- Provide brand standards and guidance for advisor-facing and enterprise marketing materials while partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent brand application.
Marketing Strategy
- Develop integrated marketing strategies aligned with enterprise priorities and divisional business objectives.
- Translate business goals into measurable marketing initiatives supporting advisor growth, partner engagement, revenue generation, and brand awareness.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen the Global Travel Collection value proposition and market differentiation.
- Establish KPIs and measure marketing effectiveness.
Content & Advisor Marketing
- Lead advisor communications, content strategy, editorial planning, website content, campaign messaging, executive thought leadership, social media, and video strategy.
- Create content that informs, inspires, and reinforces the Global Travel Collection brand.
Creative & Brand Experience
- Lead the creative vision for brand identity, graphic design, photography, video, presentations, sales materials, advertising, and creative asset management.
- Partner with the Events team to ensure conferences, meetings, and experiences consistently reflect the Global Travel Collection brand.
Digital Marketing
- Provide strategic leadership for website strategy, CRM, marketing automation, SEO, digital campaigns, email marketing, landing pages, and social media.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing marketing organization capable of supporting a complex, multi-business enterprise.
- Build an organizational structure that supports future growth.
- Hire, coach, mentor, and develop marketing professionals and future leaders.
- Create a culture of collaboration, accountability, creativity, and continuous learning.
- Drive innovation, AI adoption, and operational excellence.
- Manage agency relationships, budgets, and external partners.
- Build strong partnerships across business units, positioning Marketing as a strategic business partner.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree preferred
- 5 – 7 years leadership experience with proven results within in a fast-paced environment
- Experience driving culture and engagement in a global organization, with expertise of factors and components that drive both
- Experience leading and driving successful global internal communications
- Demonstrated ability to work at levels- strategic, operational, and tactical
- Excellent communication and writing skills with ability to form stories and narrative, with attention to detail
- Experience working with leaders at all levels of an organization, ability to create and foster business relationships with leaders and employees
- Strong Project Management skills
- High level of initiative and motivation to quickly resolve challenges
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal communications skills
- Exceptional problem-solving, analysis, and decision-making skill
