COMPENSATION RANGE

Pay Range: Based on experience 

Shift: Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm with required rest and meal breaks. Full time, non-exempt.


JOB SUMMARY

Since 1970, Great Floors has grown into a thriving organization with retail, commercial, and builder showrooms positioned across the Pacific Northwest. Great Floors is a subsidiary of Artisan Design Group. Artisan Design Group (ADG).  This position works closely with our builder partners and internal stakeholders across all departments to ensure accurate and timely submission of all bids, as well as ensure the awarded communities are set up accurately and completely in our proprietary software.  


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   

  • Partner with the Sales Team following key processes and tasks for bidding: 
  • Prep all bid documents 
  • Download blueprints and all bid documents.  
  • Send bidding details to estimating team. 
  • Gather material and labor cost.  
  • Fill out bid worksheets and review with Sales. 
  • Track bidding.  
  • Create and save all relevant documents for order processing and billing.  
  • Validate contracts. 
  • Maintain builder pricing.  
  • Notify Sales of any price increase that affects our active communities.  
  • Implement price increase as directed by Sales and Management.  
  • Work with the billing team to assist in any billing issues.  
  • Other tasks as assigned by manager. 

Requirements

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS   

Required Qualifications 

  • At least 1-2 years in a professional business environment. 
  • High School education or equivalent. 
  • Ability to present and articulate points clearly and effectively.  
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and priorities. 
  • Must consistently meet tight deadlines. 
  • Excellent basic math skills. 
  • Work well in a team environment. 
  • Punctual and reliable attendance. 
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Office – Excel, Outlook, Word. 
  • Photoshop experience a plus. 
  • Experience in the production homebuilding industry or the construction industry is helpful but not required. We are willing to train motivated candidates who demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic.

  • Stationary Position: Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for up to 90% of the workday. 
  • Mobility: Frequently required to move throughout the office to access materials, equipment, or files. 
  • Lifting/Carrying: Frequently lifts and/or moves items weighing up to 10 pounds. 
  • Manual Dexterity: Frequently operates a computer and other office or production equipment. 
  • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate and exchange accurate information with customers and team members, including in busy or noisy environments. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT 

The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position. 

• Office/Design Center: Professional, climate-controlled office environment with moderate noise levels (e.g., computers, printers, and light foot traffic).
