Job Summary
The Executive Director of Mobile Device Propositions is responsible for defining and delivering compelling device related offers that drive subscriber growth, customer loyalty, and long term value. This leader will oversee end to end strategy and execution across device protection, trade in programs, and device subsidy initiatives. They will guide a high performing team of product managers and collaborate cross functionally to ensure successful product launches, operational excellence, and sustained business performance.Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
- Define, prioritize, and manage the 12–24 month roadmap for device propositions.
- Own and manage the full P&L for the device protection portfolio.
- Lead cross‑functional planning and delivery with engineering, technology, marketing, care, finance, and legal to ensure seamless product execution and lifecycle management.
- Expand and strengthen relationships with key vendors and partners supporting trade‑in and protection programs.
- Provide thought leadership and hands‑on support in evaluating and solving high‑impact strategic opportunities and challenges across the business.
- Identify, incubate, and evaluate partner opportunities that deliver differentiated device‑related features—driving long‑term growth or yielding rapid learnings.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers, fostering a customer‑obsessed, performance‑oriented culture.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Role Requires
- Strong understanding of the wireless and internet technology landscape.
- Ability to combine expert‑level knowledge of the mobile industry and KPIs with macro‑economic and technology trends to anticipate market dynamics, influence internal forecasts, and guide strategic planning.
- Experience evaluating and developing strategic opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with strategic partners.
- Proven ability to guide initiatives from strategic planning through successful commercialization.
- Ability to assess competitive, economic, regulatory, and social factors that impact company strategy and define action plans that maximize business outcomes.
- Established track record of creating executive‑ready presentations that articulate product strategy and align senior leadership and cross‑functional team.
Minimum Requirements
- Extensive experience developing and executing product strategies, with a strong ability to translate customer insights into a cohesive product vision and operational roadmap.
- Significant background in product management and product marketing, including identifying and assessing third‑party partnership opportunities.
- Proven success delivering innovative consumer products and services within the wireless and/or technology industries.
- Exceptional strategic, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to communicate a clear long‑term vision to executives and cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Strong financial acumen, including comfort with financial modeling and working with unstructured data.
- Strong collaboration skills, excellent communication abilities, and an executive presence.
- MBA preferred.
