This Full Time role sits within the Program Management & Delivery team supporting Platform Engineering, AI and Advanced Analytics. In this role, you will help deliver the products, platforms, and strategic initiatives that enable OMERS Investments to analyze investment opportunities, make investment decisions, and optimize portfolio outcomes.
You will partner with Data & Technology (D&T) Customer Success & Innovation (CSI), investment teams across Capital Markets, Infrastructure, Private Equity, Growth Equity, and Ventures, as well as Finance, Risk & Compliance and other business stakeholders to support demand intake, portfolio planning, prioritization, governance, and delivery execution. This position is important because it helps ensure strategic initiatives are aligned, governed, and delivered effectively while enabling strong stakeholder engagement and execution across the enterprise.
You will be responsible for:
Partner with D&T Customer Success & Innovation (CSI), business stakeholders, Program Managers, Project Managers, and other partners to support demand intake, roadmap alignment, prioritization, and business alignment.
Manage an assigned portfolio of initiatives and workstreams on a day-to-day basis, ensuring priorities are clearly defined, coordinated, and positioned for successful delivery.
Translate business demand into governed priorities, practical delivery pathways, and clear execution plans.
Champion clear and consistent communication to ensure stakeholders are informed, engaged, and supported throughout the lifecycle of initiatives.
Build strong working relationships across business, technology, and delivery teams to align priorities, timelines, dependencies, and expected outcomes.
Identify, track, and communicate risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions to stakeholders and team members as appropriate.
Guide and support teams through planning, prioritization, decision-making, and blocker resolution in a collaborative and timely manner.
Work with cross-functional teams to determine tasks, milestones, resources, and planned and actual dates.
Support and facilitate Agile and hybrid delivery ceremonies, including planning, prioritization, progress tracking, and blocker resolution.
Apply workflow management techniques including Kanban, Scrum, and hybrid approaches using Azure DevOps and related delivery tools.
Help teams and stakeholders maintain clear, concise, and actionable backlog items and delivery artefacts.
Assist leadership in preparing portfolio updates, governance materials, executive communications, management reporting, and steering committee content.
Support resource planning, delivery capacity management, sequencing, prioritization, and execution readiness across initiatives.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance portfolio visibility, stakeholder coordination, delivery effectiveness, and operational excellence.
Required Skills & Experience
5-8+ years of experience in program management, project management, portfolio coordination, or technology delivery leadership.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives, priorities, stakeholders, and competing demands in a complex environment.
Strong knowledge of project and delivery methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery approaches.
Proven experience planning, monitoring, governing, and reporting delivery status across projects, programs, or portfolios.
Strong stakeholder management, relationship-building, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Ability to manage ambiguity, uncertainty, and changing priorities while maintaining focus on outcomes and delivery objectives.
Experience supporting prioritization, roadmap planning, governance processes, and business demand management.
Strong working knowledge of Agile concepts, delivery practices, and workflow management tools such as Azure DevOps.
Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, information systems, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence, coordinate, and drive alignment across business and technology teams.
Preferred Skills & Experience
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
Scrum Master certification or Agile delivery certification.
Financial services or investment industry experience.
Experience supporting Capital Markets, Private Markets, Infrastructure, Private Equity, Growth Equity, or related investment teams.
Familiarity with enterprise architecture, technology governance, and portfolio management frameworks.
Experience working within a large, complex enterprise environment.
Knowledge of investment management processes, platforms, and operating models.
Working toward or holding a CFA designation is considered an asset.
Experience supporting data, analytics, AI, platform engineering, or enterprise technology initiatives.
Demonstrated passion for continuous improvement, operational excellence, and delivery optimization.

The expected salary range for this position is $103,000.00 - $157,000.00 per year.
