Requirements Engineer (AUTO)

Responsibilities

• Support the development and management of requirements for transmission systems, ensuring traceability and consistency. 
• Take ownership of dedicated functions to decompose vehicle requirements totransmission level requirements up till subsystem requirements and domain requirements (hardware, software, mechanical, …).
• Maintain and update requirement databases using Polarion.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to define, document, and refine technical requirements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer-specific requirements.
• Assist in the validation and verification processes by linking requirements to test cases and validation reports.
• Generate reports and dashboards for requirement tracking and review purposes.
• Support process improvements in requirement management and system engineering practices

Qualifications

• Master degree in Engineering or equivalent by experience
• Experience in requirement management, preferably in the automotive or transmission development sector.
• Technical experience on transmission system level
• Familiarity with requirement management tools such as DOORS, Polarion, or similar tool.
• Understanding of automotive development processes (e.g., ASPICE, ISO 26262, V-model).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•  Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a structured approach to handling technical data.
