  • Partner closely with the medical and clinical operations leadership teams to align credentialing workflows, policy updates, and provider network standards with broader clinical governance objectives.
  • Assemble, verify, and compile standardized provider credentialing dossiers and application packages for Credentialing Committee review and approval.
  • Conduct rigorous primary-source verifications for active licensure, provincial good standing (e.g., CPSO, CPSS, CPSBC), CMPA/liability coverage, and clinical certifications.
  • Identify and proactively escalate credentialing discrepancies, background findings, or adverse regulatory/disciplinary actions to the Credentialing Committee.
  • Lead and execute the end-to-end annual recredentialing lifecycle across a multi-disciplinary provider network (spanning Primary Care, Emergency Physicians, Expert Medical Services Specialists, Mental Health Therapists, Nurse Practitioners, and Allied Health Practitioners).
  • Assist the Credentialing Committee in drafting, revising, and operationalizing provider policies, clinical guidelines, and compliance standards.
  • Serve as committee secretariat by managing agenda preparation, taking detailed meeting minutes, tracking approval statuses, and maintaining audit-ready compliance documentation.

  • Partner with Recruitment, Operations, Clinical Training, Provider Liaisons, and leadership teams to ensure seamless operational hand-offs—from initial recruitment screening to platform setup and onboarding.
  • Oversee and report on all provider lifecycle milestones—from initial intake and credentialing to active standing and offboarding—minimizing time-to-practice and supporting network capacity visibility.
  • Continuously identify, recommend, and execute process improvements and optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy across credentialing, recredentialing, and broader Medical Affairs operations.

Perform other duties and support ad-hoc operational or governance projects as assigned by clinical leadership.

  • Enthusiastic about actively staying informed on evolving provincial licensing policies across Canada.
  • Exceptional administrative and organizational skills, with a highly structured approach, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities with precision.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential provider information, legal/regulatory records with complete discretion and strict adherence to privacy frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with physician database management and credentialing platforms (e.g., CMARS, Credentially or similar platforms) is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with digital verification portals.
  • Proven track record of supporting clinical committees, managing high-volume compliance pipelines, and supporting policy implementations.
