Hourly Pay Range:
$21.50 - $33.33 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:
- Position: Pharmacy Technician II - Inpatient
- Location: Elmhurst Hospital
- Per Diem
- Hours: Rotating Days/Evenings. Required to rotate Day (6am or 7am start – 2pm -3pm) and Evening (2:30pm -11pm) shifts (8 hours shifts), rotating holidays.
What you will need:
- Education (Required):
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Certifications (Required):
- Current License as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Illinois
- One of the following must be met:
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification or must obtain CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) within 90 days of hire, or
- Successfully passed the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT) examination pending certification, or
- Current Pharmacy Technician license with “Student” designation issued by the State of Illinois
What you will do:
Assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and maintenance of records. Works under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
