About this Role

R.R. Cassidy, a growing heavy construction company and part of Quanta Services, is seeking a self-motivated Equipment Coordinator to join our Equipment Acquisition department. This full-time, permanent position is based in Prairieville, LA, and is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will work directly with project managers to identify equipment needs, track our company-owned fleet, source rental equipment, and maintain accurate maintenance records to help keep projects moving forward.

What You'll Do

• Communicate with project managers to understand equipment needs for upcoming and active jobs.
• Track the location, status, and assignment of company-owned equipment across projects.
• Locate and source rental equipment when job needs exceed available fleet.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records for all equipment and follow up on service that is due or overdue.
• Keep equipment data current and report on fleet availability and utilization as requested.

What You'll Bring

• Working knowledge of equipment and fleet.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with project managers and clarify what each job needs.
• Ability to track equipment, locate rentals, and keep maintenance records accurate and organized.

Preferred

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office; proficiency in Excel is a plus.
• Experience with Tenna
