## About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to translate business requirements into secure, scalable and reliable Microsoft and cloud-based solutions.

You will own end-to-end solution architecture, provide technical guidance throughout delivery and help shape technology roadmaps. The role focuses on enterprise application integration, modernisation and migration initiatives using Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, Microsoft 365 technologies and the .NET ecosystem.

You will bring 10–15 years of experience across development, solution design and architecture, with the ability to understand existing enterprise environments and create practical implementation plans for upgrades, migrations and deployment scenarios.

## What you’ll do

• Own solution architecture and design for Microsoft and cloud-based projects, with a focus on performance, scalability, reliability and business outcomes.
• Translate business requirements into effective, secure and maintainable technical solutions.
• Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing Microsoft and Azure-based solutions that meet business requirements.Analyse existing architecture and technology roadmaps and recommend implementation approaches for upgrades, migrations and deployment scenarios.
• Provide technical guidance and development support to engineering teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.Support delivery against project timelines and technical commitments across different client environments.
• Design solutions that integrate effectively with heterogeneous enterprise systems.
• Provide architectural guidance across business processes and forms, collaboration and enterprise content management.Design, develop and document out-of-the-box SharePoint solutions using the Microsoft technology stack.
• Apply appropriate design patterns, performance-tuning techniques and cyber security practices throughout solution design and implementation.Work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• Provide thought leadership on architectural design practices and Microsoft solution technologies.
• Support the development and integration of enterprise Line of Business applications.

## Who you are

• You have 10–15 years of experience combining application development, solution design and architecture.You have experience designing custom solutions using Microsoft Azure, Microsoft technologies, PowerShell, .NET Core and ASP.NET.
• You have experience with major versions of SharePoint, including SharePoint 2016 and Office 365.You have practical experience with at least one cloud technology, with Microsoft Azure being particularly relevant to this role.You have experience designing, developing and documenting out-of-the-box SharePoint solutions using the Microsoft technology stack.You have strong practical knowledge of software design patterns.
• You have development experience with web and scripting technologies such as HTML, XSL, JavaScript, jQuery and Ajax.
• You have experience with JavaScript technologies and frameworks such as React, Angular and Node.js.You understand application and solution performance tuning.You have a thorough awareness of cyber security guidelines and secure implementation practices.
• You are comfortable designing solutions for performance, scalability, reliability and availability at both system and component levels.You can gather and document requirements from non-technical business stakeholders.You have exposure to the full software development lifecycle.
• You bring critical thinking, structured problem-solving and solution-design capabilities.You are a graduate in Computer Science or an equivalent discipline.
