Noel Group are looking for a trade counter assistant /warehouse operative for full time work in Ballymount South Dublin
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting customers at the trade counter, providing product information and processing sales orders.
- Handling cash and card transactions accurately while delivering excellent customer service.
- Picking, packing, and preparing customer and trade orders for collection and delivery.
- Receiving, checking, and storing stock in the warehouse, ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely using appropriate manual handling techniques.
- Maintaining stock levels and replenishing shelves to ensure product availability.
- Conducting regular stock checks and assisting with inventory control procedures.
- Ensuring the warehouse and trade counter areas were clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Working closely with suppliers, drivers, and colleagues to ensure efficient order fulfilment.
- Operating warehouse equipment and followed company safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and procedures
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform manual handling tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Basic IT skills for stock systems
Desirable Skills
- Experience with RF scanners
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Experience in fast-paced distribution environments
