DHT is hiring Mid-Level and Skilled Diesel Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shift at our Reese, Michigan maintenance facility.

We're looking for dependable, experienced technicians who know their way around Class 8 trucks and trailers and take pride in diagnosing problems, making quality repairs, and keeping equipment moving.

Whether you're a solid mid-level technician looking to develop your diagnostic skills or an experienced technician comfortable tackling complex repairs, we have opportunities for you.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Class 8 trucks and trailers
• Perform engine, drivetrain, and transmission repairs
• Diagnose electrical and electronic system problems
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair air and brake systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT-related inspections
• Use diagnostic software and equipment to identify faults and determine necessary repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical failures
• Perform truck and trailer maintenance and repairs
• Respond to road service and emergency repair needs as assigned
• Complete repairs safely, accurately, and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What We're Looking For

• Previous hands-on diesel repair experience
• Experience maintaining and repairing Class 8 trucks and/or trailers
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities
• Electrical and electronic diagnostic experience appropriate to skill level
• Familiarity with diagnostic software such as DiagnosticLink, Cummins INSITE, Bendix, or WABCO is a plus
• Ability to work independently and make sound repair decisions within your experience level
• Dependable attendance and strong work habits
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift
