What this job involves:

JLL Technologies Enterprise Data team is a newly established central organization that oversees JLL’s data strategy. Enterprise Analytics is an internal analytics-consulting team that provides data driven expertise to various business and support functions. The Senior Business Analyst  is an experienced role that combines data-driven storytelling, analytical prowess and expert level stakeholder management to drive significant value. We need a data rockstar to join our growing team and that could be you! 

This is remote based role that requires working on the Eastern time zone. As this is part of a global team, flexibility will be needed to accommodate occasional meetings outside of this time zone too.

 

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Partner with Sr level stakeholders to determine creative data-based methodologies for driving business value. 

• Develop professional grade dashboards in Tableau to drive better decision making across the Capital Markets business.   
• Prepare and present findings and analyses to stakeholders through iterative development and agile delivery - drive faster, smarter data driven decisions. 
• Generate revenue or cost saving opportunities through data-driven insights and proactively identify opportunities to optimize the performance and efficiency of existing processes/procedures. 
• Support the roadmap development process through facilitating discussions with stakeholders, researching possible solutions and recommending key areas of opportunity where we can drive analytical value. 
• Lead prioritization and project management efforts to create consistency and ensure expectation alignment with key stakeholders 

• Explore and utilize new data mining and data visualization tools to conduct ad-hoc analysis as required. 
• Leverage additional support teams (Advanced Data Science and Marketing Analytics) to drive even more stakeholder value. 

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Analytics, Statistics / Mathematics, Computer Science, Econometrics or Data Science and Information Management (advanced degree preferred). 
• 2-4 years of experience with data visualization platforms (Tableau preferred) required (Experience with user design a plus). 
• Programming experience and expertise in SQL (experience with Azure Databricks / Python a plus). 
• Ability to quickly understand, process and consume industrial scale databases using one of these tools. 
• Experience in developing and delivering insights through advanced analytics and working with relational databases, API integrations, data automation preferred. 
• Strong interpersonal communication and active listening skills. 
• Comfortable with creating creative solutions where ambiguity exists and delivering against aggressive timelines is required. 
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing to work with multiple cross- functional teams. 
• Advanced skills using Excel and PowerPoint. 

75,000.00 – 90,000.00 CAD per year

This range represents the estimated base salary and actual compensation may differ. Final base salary is determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations. Some roles and employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, benefits, or other compensation.
