As a Rental Sales Associate, you'll play an important role in creating a positive customer experience from the beginning to the end of each rental. You'll assist travelers, local residents, insurance customers, and business clients while learning the sales and operational side of the automotive rental industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in building experience in sales, customer relations, automotive services, retail, or business operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Welcome customers and help identify the best rental vehicle for their needs.
• Assist with rental inquiries, reservations, vehicle selections, and rental agreements.
• Generate sales through vehicle upgrades, rental enhancements, and optional coverage offerings.
• Support daily rental transactions, including checkouts, returns, renewals, and vehicle exchanges.
• Work with insurance companies, repair facilities, corporate accounts, and individual customers.
• Collect payments, review rental documentation, and ensure transaction accuracy.
• Enter and maintain customer and vehicle details using computer-based reservation systems.
• Inspect vehicles during customer exchanges, noting mileage, fuel levels, and existing damage.
• Communicate with the vehicle operations team to ensure cars are available and prepared for customers.
• Help maintain an efficient, professional, and customer-friendly branch environment.

Requirements

Qualifications & Employment Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current, valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• No more than two moving violations or at-fault accidents within the previous three years.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Availability to work weekends.
• Comfortable using computers, learning new software, and handling customer payments.
• Strong verbal communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional appearance, reliable attendance, and a team-oriented attitude.
