Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Clearance Required Driver Reception Operations in McLean, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will create a welcoming, professional presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. You will assist employees and guests, help identify and report unusual activity, and contribute to a positive environment through exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at the front desk of a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
• Manage visitor access by greeting guests, confirming appointments, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Maintain accurate records, including incident reports, visitor activity, access requests, and shift communications, while supporting a professional lobby environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
