Responsibilities

The Opportunity  

 

The position is responsible for delivering technology and engineering solutions for new products, growth initiatives, sourcing strategies, safety and quality across the Savory.

 

Responsible for the execution within the Argentina manufacturing facilities aligned with the Digital Value Chain strategy. Also providing disruptive solutions enhancing digitalization, safety, quality, service and productivity.

 

Responsible of ejecution and technical resource capabilities, ensuring execution of capital investments, productivity savings, innovation.

 

There will be a very strong link between the digital strategies with the automation strategy to ensure full compliance with cybersecurity

 

Your Impact  

• Manage all projects related to expansion, productivity quality operational need and innovations capexes.
• Assure the projects execution on time on budget within the defined scope.
• Development of conceptual studies; development of basic designs and cost estimates for development capex; control of costs, time and quality in project execution; preparation of periodic reports for the area management and key stakeholders; identify with key customers and stakeholders needs, opportunities and process improvements, targeting the company's success.
• Manage and coordinate project teams and engineering services performed by subcontractors
• Work on the development of engineering flowcharts, specifications, equipment specs , testing process implementation plans
• Assure the engineering standards implementation within each project
• Promote and assure the interaction and participation of all involved departments on any project
• Assure the implementation of Early management and Change management concept during each project implementation
• Delivering project reports with status, performance of the work, risks and mitigation plans.
• Manage / balance the field engineers workload during  the projects  implementation of projects;
• Promote process optimization studies to improve the quality and reduce the cost of projects.
• Promote and assure project engineers skills development
• Leveraging expertise inside and outside the organization to deliver equipment and process development.
• Provision of regular progress updates and timely communication of issues to Senior Project Managers.
• Support all regional businessunit project engineers in the development of appropriate project briefs /plans / capexes
• Coaching, development, and performance reviews of project engineers.

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?  

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (Engineering degree is required).
• Industry Experience: Previous experience in the food industry is preferred.
• Project Management: 3+ years of experience executing projects.
• Digital Skills:
  •   Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  •  Familiarity with design tools such as AutoCAD; ability to understand and work with the software
• Languages:
  •   Conversational English (to communicate with international suppliers).
  •  Portuguese is a plus.
• Location: Must be based in Mar del Plata, Argentina.
