About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Underground Mining Foreman to join our operations at the Plutonic Gold Mine on an 8/6 Roster.
Reporting to the Underground Manager, you will provide leadership and operational direction to Mining Supervisors, coordinating personnel and resources to ensure underground mining activities are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with production targets.
This is an opportunity to take an active role in driving operational performance, developing capable teams and contributing to the continued growth of our underground operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and support Mining Supervisors to maintain a safe, productive and accountable workforce.
- Coordinate personnel, equipment and resources to achieve planned mining targets.
- Oversee daily underground activities, ensuring alignment with production schedules and operational priorities.
- Maintain compliance with Catalyst Metals' safety standards, policies, procedures and statutory requirements.
- Identify operational challenges and drive practical improvements in safety, productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with technical and operational teams to support effective planning and mine performance.
