Your Role:

As an Invoicing Processing Specialist, you will be responsible for executing global Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) invoice processing activities, including invoice intake, processing, verification and posting. You will ensure that invoices are handled efficiently, accurately and in compliance with applicable policies, procedures and Service Level Agreements. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to resolve invoice-related issues and support continuous process improvements.

This position offers a fixed-term contract.

Your Responsibilities:

• Execute P2P invoice processing activities, including mail processing, invoice intake management, scanning, data entry, completeness and accuracy checks, invoice posting and issue resolution.
• Process invoices from receipt through posting efficiently, ensuring compliance with applicable payable systems, policies and procedures.
• Communicate with third parties to resolve invoice-related questions and discrepancies, ensuring timely processing of invoices and credit memos within agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Review vendor statements against open and closed invoices to identify missing or incorrectly billed invoices.
• Coordinate with invoice approvers and requisitioners to ensure timely review and approval of invoices before disbursement.
• Follow process governance requirements, including regular reporting and analysis of key performance metrics.
• Support General Accounting activities related to month-end and year-end closing procedures, including general ledger reconciliations.
• Support and implement process improvements, changes and system upgrades or updates.
• Support the Global Sourcing team with supplier identification, analysis and maintenance.
• Execute governance processes to evaluate and implement localization and customization requirements.
• Provide support to internal and external auditors during audits and other data-related enquiries.
  
  

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

• Degree in Business, Accounting or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Over 2 years of experience in P2P or Finance functions, preferably within an SSC/BPO environment.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and French.
• Knowledge and understanding of Procurement and Purchasing functions.
• Experience in Purchase-to-Pay processes.
• Understanding of applicable US SOX and operational controls, with a strong compliance-oriented mindset.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office tools, ServiceNow and SAP.
• Ability to work effectively in a global team environment and communicate with internal business partners across different levels and disciplines, as well as external stakeholders.
• Ability to proactively and effectively resolve people, process and technology-related issues.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and complete key tasks and deliverables effectively.
• Flexibility in responding to customer needs and effectively managing expectations.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with core team members, internal customers, business partners and distribution team members.
