Job Summary
Shambaugh & Son is looking for a Project Manager for our industrial refrigeration projects. In this role you will be tasked to pre-plan and manage construction projects utilizing all company resources resulting in satisfied customer, increased productivity, and increased profitability.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date change order, subcontractor, RFI and contingency logs.
- Work with operations manager to ensure labor plan is being carried out.
- Create Mechanical Schedule and Man loading charts on all projects.
- Consistently submit accurate, timely and complete estimates and change order quotations.
- Communication with Purchasing and Fabrication Shop to secure schedule, scope and price.
- Promote and enforce a safe working environment.
- Satisfy customers’ needs to develop repeat business.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems
- Construction/engineering based degree is a plus
- Willing to travel as required
- Experience with Microsoft office, Word, Excel and project
- Knowledge in generating construction schedule and updating of same (MS Project).
- Knowledge in reading plan and ISO drawings for purpose of ordering material and estimating of change orders.
- Ability to order, track, and expedite for timely delivery to multiple locations of pipe valves, fittings and specialty items required for the project.
- Self-starter
- Good Communication skills
- Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
