The Director of Academics at Aggieland Tutoring is a crucial role, primarily responsible for overseeing the educational programs and academic standards. The Director provides visionary leadership in pedagogical practice, promotes consistency in the instructional delivery of curriculums, and ensures high-quality support services for students and all stakeholders involved. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and evaluate both short-term and long-term strategic academic plans to meet the organization's objectives. Ensure the curriculum is aligned with the strategic plan and that proper instructional methods are used to maintain high standards of education. Assess and monitor students' educational progress and supply teachers and parents with feedback. Lead and oversee the development, implementation, and consequential analysis of student testing to measure academic progress. Collaborate with the board of directors and faculty in planning, development, and implementation of the school's academic programs and strategic plans. Establish strong and meaningful relationships with students, faculties, parents, and the surrounding community. Actively seek and incorporate innovative educational approaches to ensure the continuous improvement of the curriculum. Qualifications An advanced degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field. A Doctorate (Ph.D./Ed.D.) is preferred. A minimum of five years of teaching experience and three years in academic leadership roles, preferably as an Academic Director at the university level. Proven track record of leadership in strategic planning and academic program development. Demonstrated ability to supervise academic programs, curriculum development, instruction, and student assessment. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
